CO2 bottle longevity

Hi guys I realise this is a loaded question with many variables but just in your experience how long are your bottles lasting on your calcium reactors and what size are they?

I use 2kg bottles and use two a year in a fully stocked 200L mixed reef

I just had a 2kg bottle drain on me in a month. It’s for an 800 litre system but it must have had a leak.

I had one do this my regulator was leaking I had to replace it.

Of course it happens while I am away. Ordered two more 5kg bottles but they will take a week to arrive. I’ll have to ask someone to dip the regulator and bottle to check for leaks.

20 pound tank lasts over 2 years for my system. 300 gallon SPS dominant.

5 litre bottle last ca 4 weeks for me total 2500 litres and reactor set to stop co2 dosing then hit 6,5
