My CO2 regulator has a leak. This is the second one from Carbon Doser that’s gone bad in 5 years. For $360 they should not be going bad but then I guess everything does. I don’t want to spend that kind of money again. Looking for good replacement suggestions. Thanks.

There is a CaRx paper in my signature where I talk about a bunch of different ones that I use and have used if you want a semi-in-depth list.

I would just get a Tunze. It will need a solenoid if you are in an area with lots of power outages.

FWIW - you can put the carbondoser box on a good regulator with some good fittings. I always thought that their cheap regulators were junk, but like the boxes better.

I did not follow your last suggestion. What box are you referring to? And what do I need to do?

The black carbondoser box can be moved to a better regulator. ...unless that is the part that is leaking.

I see. If I remove the black box where do I connect it on the new regulator? Do you have any pictures of your mod?

I have never done it, but you connect it to where the bubble counter and solenoid attach. If you want to try this, take the box and the new regulator to a place that specializes in fittings since it might be tough to source parts at the typical Ace Hardware or Lowe's.
