Hi Everybody!

I purchased a used Calcium Reactor setup and I'm slowly getting it up and running. So, I just got the tank re-certified and filled up.

I had to put a new gasket on the regular fitting and I got it on properly (or so it seems), however when I turn the gas on, there is some leaking. It looks as though there is a bleed valve, which is where I feel the air coming out. I'm only familiar with bleed valves with a ring, so is this one broken, or should it be adjusted somehow? The tank is very old, and the regulator looks a bit old as well. Any ideas?

Thanks!

If it were me, I'd replace the regulator. Bump.
yeah, get a new regulator, you don't want to risk it dumping too much into your reactor or it emptying your tank and rendering your reactor useless.

I think that is wise for sure. I found some instructions for a Milwaukee regulator which looks similar. It does have the same style bleed valve, but even following that procedure I am not having any luck.

Older version of this I think ....
