I'm shopping around for a regulator for my calcium reactor and have seen a few options. I was going to build my own using a 2 stage, but they are getting hard to find lightly used ones.

I was looking at the SR Aquarastik one and its it appears to be solidly built from quick look, but I wanted to see if anyone had any experience with the unit.

The other obvious option is the carbon doser.

I am going to be running the reactor on a peristaltic dosing pump, and plan to have the solenoid set on my controller to help maintain ensure the ph doesn't go crazy.

I run a cheap Milwaukee regulator and to be honest if your running it on a controller like an apex, having an expensive regulator isn't necessary. You just need the solenoid to turn on/off. I used this video as a basis on how to set up my CaRX.

Great Video!

Looks like you have some old Synergy Reef Systems things in your mix.
Is that correct?

Carbondoser is the only way to go!
