has anyone else found that the brs soda lime media isn't lasting longer than 3- 4 days tops. has anyone had any luck with other types of soda lime like the one in the link provided? last longer?

Looking on thoughts on this. also been towing with the idea of running a line from my 1/4 inch skimmer air intake to the out side. thinking 1/4 to a half inch diameter tubing 25 to 30 feet. would 1/2 inch be to small? or should I go with a 3/4 inch to an inch diameter?

If you read some other threads the media seems to last longer if some moisture is supplied.
I dont have any experience running tubing for air. I would think if its like water, doubling the original size should work for that distance
