CO2 Scrubber Question

I run my scrubber intake line back into my skimmer cup the moist air helps the media last longer.

Is it because the air is moist or because the air has already been scrubbed once?

Thats good advice, I am going to run mine back to my skimmer because I have a 4 by 12" reactor packed full of the media and the top 1/4 of the media is already turning light purple after a week. I shook up the media good to make sure it wasn't making a path through it somehow but I think I might need to get two reactors to keep the ph stable. I used to have a high of 8 RARELY and now its at 8.3-8.4 average. I am just waiting to see if it improves the coral health and tank somehow. A lot of people say they need to dose more alk and calcium after just of a few days.
