Co2 scrubber switch to Kalk stirrer ?

So I’m about to order another 3lb bag of soda lime. I figure I’m going through it in 3 months. About $8~ a month.

What are y’all spending when it comes to kalk stirrer?

I’m considering switching over to a Kalk stirrer. One problem I don’t want to run into is my Calcium reactor adjustment initially. Dosing Kalkwasser and Carx at the same time will need minor adjustments on the Carx.

Let me know what y’all folks think. Do you have a setup and picture you recommend?

I made the switch 2 months ago. Kalk is way cheaper, and WAY more effective. Also, my skimmer works again.

What setup are you using? I’m going to look at overall cost too.

on one of my tanks i have avast kalk stirrer on my other its just a rubbermaid with a spatula on a grill rotissery motor
both have been kicking over a decade.. i had to change the avast motor once.. would buy it again if i wanted it to look nice.
