My pH on my 40 gallon tank with a few corals has been dipping down constantly from 8 to 7.5. Just wondering if a CO2 scrubber will help my pH to go between 8 and 8.2. Attach is a link for the CO2 scrubber.

Yes it will definitely help. If your house is loaded with cO2, you’re going to chew through the media though. Try plumbing your skimmer outside first, if possible. That’s what I did and it makes a huge difference.

Ok I'll try plumbing outside first. And if does not work will install CO2 scrubber. Thank you for the input.

You can try a recirculating design, I did and I only change my CO2 absorbent about once every 6 weeks

Sorry new to this. What do you mean recirculating design.

he hooks up the intake tube from the CO2 scrubber into the lid of his protein skimmer.
Plumbing your skimmer outside will make a huge difference. You also won’t have to change the media. I used to scrub with BRS media but it got too expensive.

Outside air is the best, but I rent in an appartment so it’s not an option.
