hooked it up already did bring the ph up from 7.9 to 8.1 just pulling out air from the room lets see how high it goes and then going to try recirculating through the skimmer
so it would be better to leave it just pulling from roomI'll reiterate here what I've said elsewhere, IMO, recirculating skimmer air is not optimal.
You may pull up pH by lowering CO2, and may possibly do that more efficiently, media-wise, but it is at the expense of oxygenation by the skimmer since it is not aerating with fresh air.
so it would be better to leave it just pulling from room
Yes, or run it to outside air if possible and the media will last a little longer.so it would be better to leave it just pulling from room
