Folks put a CO2 scrubber on the skimmer intake....but can you also put on the the intake of an airpump/airstone ? Will it harm the corals? Thanks

Yes its fine
All you are doing is adding less Co2 to your water thru your normal aeration.
Higher oxygen/co2 ratio will not harm corals.

I did this experiment on a frag tank and all my corals closed up. I could not get them to open until I took out the air stone is the reason for asking. I was trying to figure out what happened?

Never heard of scrubber media having a bad effect on corals.
