Co2 Scrubber?

I got new media and instructions don't mention adding water but I heard supposed to add like a tablespoon of RODI water. Do I add water or no?

I add a little rodi to the bottom of the reactor. I can’t tell if it makes a difference, within 2 days it evaporates.

I tried it with and without and it made no difference to my readings. I also have a recirculating style. So moisture is always present.
