Yes that is what I was asking. Do you feel it makes media last longer this way then recirculating it or drawing air from inside house?

I do think it makes the media last longer, but my sample size on this is pretty small. As of now I've only had it plumbed this way for 2 weeks. What I've noticed is it gives me an extra 3-4 days on my CO2 media.

Yes you would think but here is my thread I started about the issue. And since I made this thread I have seen many other people post th at in winter with heat on outside line to skimmer gets them 8.1-8.3 ph but soon as summer comes and ac turned on ph drop to 7.8-8.0 randy tried to explain the reason why but I don’t like it cause I wish it wasn’t happening lol

As title states last night I turned on my ac for first time this year and when woke up this morning ph is at 7.9 and always runs at 8.1-8.2 I know this is not out of range or something I should immediately be concerned about but I’d like to know why this happened. I do have my skimmer line...

I read through your thread - how close is your ac unit to your apex? Have you ruled out electronic interference?

Ac and apex are in same room in basement about 30 feet away from each other tho so I don’t think that’s the case

It is just very strange - do you have any pictures of your setup?
