CO2 scrubbers?

I have kinda tired of saying this, but all that you have to do is air out your home. You don't have to keep the windows open for long at all, or even cool it down. Even in the winter, it is worth it if the temps even hit 30 degrees - if it hits 50 or 60 then it is no issue at all. In a 1200 square foot home with an 8 foot ceiling, that is less than 10000 cu ft and 1 minute with a powerful whole house fan can complete exchange your air without cooling anything off much at all. Even 30 seconds a few times a week can do wonders. People just don't seem to get that they don't need to cool their home down, just get the air out, and that the walls, furniture, etc. don't cool down in just a minute and the home warms back up in a heartbeat. This does not take hours or anything. People seem to discount this idea without giving it a go or maybe understanding what it takes, which is not much... think of it as airing out a car after one of your boys cuts a nasty fart... nobody freezes to death and the temp is back to where it needs to be in short order.

I understand that highly humid climates in the south might have issues in the summer, but even one minute of night air in Death Valley or the Mojave can get all of the co2 out without moving the temp much. I don't know what people can do in southern Texas or Florida... I guess exchange at night and have the AC remove the humidity.

Besides, most should be seeing at least some nice days now for an air out.

Living in AZ , our house pretty much front door faces west, back patio door faces east.. So we like to open each door and let the breeze do it's thing...And on cooler summer nights we do it also. We keep our house at 80 degrees so to save $ and when its 90 degrees plus, house still feels cool. also had a new ac unit put in with two returns to even the air flow through the house...never have a issue with ph etc in the tank maintains at 8.0 to 8.3

Technically not an atmospheric problem globally, most homes simply have elevated CO2 due to air exchange issues. Outside air is around 400ppm, the air in the room your tank sits in can be considerably higher.
Three kids, seven cats, two dogs, a bird, a mother-in-law who feels cold always, streams of visitors, new quality double panes all around, 1000 meters from a major nuclear plant and 15km from a major coal plant, we may have an air exchange issue!!! I run a carbon/hepa air filter in my workshop 24 hour a day. However, its no longer a problem for the aquarium and that is simply fantastic! Maybe I'll try one myself. Its all medical grade. I'm glad that I did not take the giant 4 liter filter. Absolutely not necessary. The PH has not budged. 8.2 day and night for two days. There is no photosynthesis yet to raise it higher but when that becomes an issue the calcium reactor will be online and that should pull it down. If I could keep it between 8.0 and 8.1 with reactor running I would be very pleased.
