Hey Fellow Reefers,

So I need some help with this co2 srubber!! So I decided to bust out the 3d printer and make some goodies for skimmer cup. I'm trying to do a recirculating design, the goal is to bring the PH up into the 8s. So designed a vapor catch container to try and help. As long as I have had this set up, nothing changes- it will stay pretty steady. I never been one to chase the numbers, but I don't know what time doing wrong.. Any help or guidance ?

Cheers

Are you sure CO2 is a concern? CO2 scrubber isn't going to fix what isn't a problem. Have you tried the 'let a cup sit in an open air container inside/outside' test?

Assuming too much CO2 in your water IS the problem, what are your PH values with/without CO2 scrubbing?

Probably why I never chased the numbers. I just wanna increase the ph with out putting more chemicals into the tank. I real doing this why would prolong the life of the media. So that was my goal. I shall try doing as you said, it was next on my list
