Where does everyone bring their tanks to get refilled. I called airgas and they will fill MY tank but said it's a couple days to test and fill. All co2 is food grade he said. I'm looking for a place to fill it while I wait since it's for carx. Any places that I should call and find out.

My understanding is alot do exchange,. Turn in my new one and get a old one back. I bought a new one because it will be seen in my office so I want to keep it new lol

Call a few welding supply stores.
Some will some wont.
A brewery store too.
Like above I have a 5lb tank.
When my 10 runs out I switch, its always on a holiday/weekend when no ones open.
I also just do the exchange.

I think most compressed gas tanks have to have an internal visual inspection annually and an NDI type structural integrity test every 5 years. If you don't exchange, you'll have to pay to have that done. Or is that just dive tanks? When you rent or exchange a dive tank, that cost is figured in. It also usually costs the same to rent a dive tank as to have one filled. May be apples and oranges, but worth looking into.

Look for a fire protection outfit. I get mine filled in about 5 min.
