I bought a used calcium reactor and it didn't come with any tubing my question is for the co2 feed line I was looking at using some spare rodi 1/4 tubing I had from brs would this work or would u recomend a tubing specifically designed for co2?

I run a CO2 safe silicon tubing because I have a check valve installed between the CO2 regulator and CO2 entrance to the reactor. I guess in a pinch you could use RODI tubing for a while but I would never run a CA reactor without a check valve to keep salt water from getting to regulator as if it does it will screw up the regulator and solenoid.

There is a check valve in the line before the reactors bubble counter I was more interested in knowing if the rodi line would leach the co2 into the air. I have seen they make tubing specifically for co2 so I wasn't sure if it was necessarily needed.

I have run rodi line before but never long term so can't say for sure if long term it would leak co2. I ran it for about 6-8 months on a reactor in the past and it looked great when I removed it for the co2 safe tubing so I would say it would probably work but i would just keep an eye on it if using for years might need to be changed out after time.
