FarmerTy's Oregon Tort is similar is that the blue has a kind of fluorescence or neon quality that is difficult to capture. Thanks for talking me into that.

Every tank needs an Oregon tort in my mind and I’m glad u got one it’s a blue you can only know if you have it and to think it was a coral that almost died on a piece of live rock crazy

Well said! Across the room, its still the most stunning piece in my tank... And I have 120+ different acro varieties in my system.

I've given myself an intervention to not buy any more corals until 2019, unless a simon level trachy or wellso comes available. I made it all thru all the labor day sales. I was feeling strong. Then unique corals posts these pictures on instagram. I instantly messaged with visa in my hand, but it was already gone. It's not simon level, but she ain't bad either. Next time.

An acan that's always happy has been unhappy for two days in a row. So I tested NO3 + PO4, the phosphates were low but fine (8 on ULR) but NO3 was barely above 0. Dosed it up to 1ppm. Will bring it up to 3ppm slowly during the week.

I stopped Red Sea Reef Energy months ago because I feel it goes bad on me after 2 to 2.5 months. Since I have Reef Nutrition Oyster Feast + Rotifers for organics, I decided to buy KZ Amino Acids. Acropower gets great reviews, but I can't bring myself to buy a TLF product.

I would be very twitchy with nitrates that low, last tested 2 weeks ago by lfs at 25, I wouldn't want it much lower than that!

I apologize, these are not in focus. This Jedi Monti is on the back of my main rock, so it's not the easiest location. Will futz with it again later. But he's growing in an interesting pattern.

As a matter he is!

He's a few inches below the return, I run a gyre on the top of the tank, so he's getting the the interaction of the gyre and the return pump.
