COB 150 watt Amazon refugium light?

You would need about six of H80s to get the same par as that that shop light. Maybe more.
I currently run a 20 watt cool white shop light in the same class as that one over a 5gal fuge sitting flush on top and it's over kill for cheato. I actually had to reduce the light cycle because I was bleaching cheato a bit. It cost $10 and I'm pretty sure it's wattage rating is legit.
Cheato grows under blue or red light equally as well and kessil doesn't have magic spectral output. If you like the red glow that's fine, but a standard white or cool white LED works just as will because most of it's spectrum is 450nm blue anyways.

The shoplights are also weatherproof and pretty much indestructable. Kessils also don't have the best efficiency, so there's no advantage there.

Will beat the pants off h80 for growth.Anyone running one of these to grow Chaeto or other macro? I’m running Kessil H 80 and thinking I need more light. Watts?
I ran h80 for a week, waiting for Amazon osunby 150w horticulture led.
This is the on deck refugium light, on the shelf, big brother to yours.
