Cob LED Failure

A few weeks ago I promised to post results of testing on a cob LED lamp. As a manager, I was trained to recognize my faults - one of them was the inability to estimate the time required to complete a project. Hence, my report is tardy. I ordered this lamp through Amazon, and it failed just seconds after being plugged in. Therefore, no results to report. PM me for the maker. On a brighter side, this company makes a cob lamp with only blue LEDs.

Was first expecting a CoB LED (chip on board, e.g. diodes wirebonded to a substrate that is the "board"), but not a ... corn cob LED
