Hey guys! This is my first build I've ever done and I'm super excited too start! I tore down my 92 gallon freshwater I've had setup for 6 years and decided too go salt! I just drilled the holes tonight in the tank and I'm going to sand down and reaping my stand, I plan on going full mixed reef and maiming focus on sps and chalices, as I'm new too the large reef I would love recommendations for reef lighting, as I am a college student with a child on the way I would love the cheaper side but we all know there's no "cheap" lighting haha. I even had my baby momma in the living room help me tear down the tank and get the okay too go salt so it's bullet proof now' I currently have a custom 10 starphire tank with a pair of snowflake clowns running under and oddessy 4 bulb t5 2 white 2 blue attinic and everything seems too be getting too much light haha. I would love all the advice on what too do with lighting and protein skimmers and any positive feed back would be great! Thanks guys!

Yeah, I still haven't decided which pump I'm going to use yet, how many gph do you run on your systems?

From the research I've done

FLOW RATE
Tank type = (# times tank capacity)
FO = 10 X laminar
FOWLR = 20 X laminar
Reef with beginner inverts = 20 to 40 X (depending on inverts) turbulent , wave
Reef with hard corals / inverts = >40 X turbulent , wave
