Can i add coepods and or amphipods to an uncycled tank to help get the cycle going and to eat patches if algea already forming

Do you have live rock in the tank now?
answer is yes but they are not going to make any difference as far as algae goes.
Wait until your cycle is finished then add a clean up crew..

Yes i have some now but am also getting another shipment of 15 lbs to this weekend so i was gonna wait at least a week until all the rock had been added before introducing coepods and amphipods to establish a population before i add anything else

They will come with your live rock, don't waste your money and buy them right now. They will reproduce rapidly enough and when your system is ready for fish, you will have plenty.
