Cold weather project ....

Finally after 3 years I have decided to hard plumb the tank. I give credit to all that have done this. This is a very time consuming and challenging project but I am loving the results.

I still have to change 3 Bulkheads, yeah, that is a ton of fun!!!! Then I have to Plumb the left return and both drains. I have lots of quick disconnects and ball valves in the system too.

This all started with the recent purchase of a skimmer since I went back to MH. Here is the project half way thru, please ignore the wires all over the place as that will change soon, I have my other EB8 on the way to help with that issue. The skimmer is Hard plumbed externally , That is why you do not see it in the pics.

No same skimmer... SRO XP2000E... Just ordered the Reef Octopus Waste container with auto shut off.... Why am I spending so much on my tank all of the sudden... LOL

Because it's winter and you have nothing better to do while locked up in the house. LOL

Thanks for the offer, just finished tonight.. Still waiting on my EB8 to tidy up the wiring.

I also straighted up the crooked pipe.. lol

I ended up running a couple pipes up to the overflow as returns to split the return, the pipe outlets are 3/4 with no nozzle to spread out the flow. The middle one is the chiller return.
