Hey!

I'm moving in a few months, just 10 minutes away. Pretty sure it's the same water on tap I currently have. At the moment my tapwater reads 0 ppm chlorine, and I have been using it for a couple years when doing waterchanges. Just straight tap-water, without any additions or aging. So far so good.

When moving, I'm looking to upgrade my 480l tank to 960l. (125 to 250 gallon). However, I would also like to add a dripsystem since I'll be moving to an apartment.

Any suggestions on how to run this system?

Was thinking:
Tapping to cold water line. Adding a pressure regulator, then just having it drip straight into the tank. Tank will be drilled on the top (2-4 holes), and these run down a line straight into my "sink exit tube". Atm I'm doing about 150-200l/week water changes. Thinking about 350l per week would be good on this drip system? Or should I do more? How can I regulate the drip rate, so it's decently accurate? (+-20% or so).

Goal is to fully replace waterchanges, so I just need to do gravel vacs when bottom looks dirty. Currently I only add plant nutrition to the tank, but I could probably get by without that. Maybe just a 20-30% dose every few days instead, if needed.

Thanks!

Were in the world do you live that your water supply has no chlorine in it? Is it well water or city water? How do you know it has no chlorine?

I'm not saying you are wrong, I'm just saying I think your situation is very unique. What kind of things do you have in your tank? I'd love to see a photo!

I'm sure it has some chlorine, but water tests show 0 ppm. So it's trace amounts.
I live on a small island in the outskirts of Stockholm. It is city water, but very clean city water. 0 chlorine taste/smell. Been running 3 tanks on this water since 2017, without issue. Just straight from tap.

Got an Oscar, Ropefish, Gibbiceps, 2 common pleco, 2 albino pleco, 2 L333, 8 gourami, 3 yoyo loaches

Decently planted :)

A) Very cool that your water supply is so clean. Luck you.

B) I assume this is a freshwater tank since I don't recognize any of the fish you mentioned?
