I’m using this controller and wondering what these apex or hydros options offer over what I use now , And which is better?
the ph 500 version has 5 Spdt relays, ph, Orp ,temp, and built in temp compensation. Thinking about automating / modernizing our basement tank as we are moving a wall and reading the room . Wondering if it’s worthwhile to get an aquarium specific controller or get another of these as I already know the quirks of the this controller .
If equipment matters the basement setup is about 800 gallons , we run halides ,t5 ozone , uv, kalkreactor , calcium reactorand skimmer. My circulation pumps all have their own controllers Most of my peristaltic pumps are master flex Or older liter meter brand , my skimmer and return pumps are all iwaki 70
