Collecting PODs?

Anyone know how to locate amphipods or copepods in the wild? I was thinking about driving to the coast to collect a couple of jars of seawater and thought I might try to catch some pods as well. And is it as simple as collecting from the waves or should I look by rock formations?

Usually in clumps of seaweed or on rocks with seaweed.

They're everywhere. Just take some sand with some sea water.
