Hello everyone!

Slowly making the move over from RC to R2R. That process would not be complete without posting up a tank build. So without further ado...

2 years ago I moved my 55gallon mixed reef from the bedroom, down to the main floor of the house. I kept the majority of the equipment, and simply switched out PC lights for t5 lights.
Here was the tank at its prime before the downfall. Not a lot of coral, as I was still building the collection, but I was very happy with the stock list, and aquascape

I ended up winning a 9 day trip sailing with 8 other people on a 72' sailboat (The Sea Dragon) I returned home and the tank was not what I left it as. To no fault of the people taking care of my tank, I hand't gotten it completely ready for me to leave. I had just added in a basement sump, which was causing a mini cycle, and was trying to find the source of microbubbles that were stressing my fish. To top that all off, I had a Sally Lightfoot Crab that had gotten quite large, and was starting to go after fish as well.
Lost a Chevron Tang, all Anthias, and my Jawfish had popeye and was lying on the sand in the middle of the tank when I got home from my trip.

Needless to say, I had to move around a LOT of rock. I'm still not happy with the aquascape as it stands.

Thanks.
I can def get you pics of the angler tank. For right now, I'll hold you over with a pic of the angler himself

His tank is a 15gallon tall with a coast to coast overflow. Its plumbed right next to the sump, and has just a simple blue submersible LED strip to light it. Flow is achieved by the incoming water. He feasts nicely on an array of tuffies, ghost shrimp, and crayfish from our new self cloning tank
