I need to move this coloney to an area with a little less direct flow. What’s the best method you’d suggest to pull this garden away from the glass and will doing so release any harmful toxins?

I've never had any toxin issues with bams bams but you can just run carbon if your concerned. As for removing off the glass, I recently had to remove some from the glass of my tank as well. I used a razorblade. My polyps on the glass took a lot of damage but survived despite the damage taken.

Looks to be mostly attached to coraline. I would scrape the coraline which would free the zoas from the glass. It will probably mash them up a little bit but I bet after a couple of days they will be good as new. Or just try getting a razor blade and slide it in between the glass and zoas.

Agreed w the previous post. I have a few colonies on glass and frag racks that I carefully use a razor and scrap the bottom part of the zoas off. They normally stick together and can easily be mounted on another rock or plug.
