I have a colonial tunicate that came in as a hitchhiker on the side of a head of frogspawn. It seems as though the tunicate is irritating and/or overgrowing the frogspawn frag. Is it likely that I can carefully scrape the tunicate off without damaging it? Or do I have to chose which animal I like more? At one time my tuxedo urchin ate half the tunicate and left the other half alone; it has since bounced back and surrounded the frag.
