I had N03 of 2ppm and started feeding more. It's now at 4ppm and my Gobstoppers have lost their green centers. I'm going to up my vodka dosing and get NO3 down to 0ppm. IYO, do you think 4ppm is enough to change a zoas /palys color significantly?

No, nothing wrong with 4ppm. SPS like clean water, Zoas, Softies and LPS don't much care for totally clean water. Anything else change in your wate?

I've only increased feeding. I think I just need to increase my vodka maintenance dose to get certain colors back. I could also move the zoas in question closer to the lights.

ATM, 2 54w T5 tubes for about 8 hours a day. My zoas are about 6" from them as it's a shallow frag tank.
