Color change zoas?

When I got these "Star Fire" zoas, they were very maroon/orange, even under the very blue light at the LFS tank.

When I first got them:

Now the centers are almost black, and the area around the mouth is green. Very striking and I love it, I just have no idea why they did this, or if it's normal. Do these still count as Star Fires?

And here's in between the two phases, you can see some of the orange still remaining in the centers which gradually changed to black.

Is this normal? And if they aren't Star Fires, then what are they? (Other than amazing)

Huh, from the pics I've seen of A&Os, they're similar, but I don't think that's it.
Stars:
Skirt: orange-red
Ring: soft black
Star: a white-ish star pattern
Mouth: green around mouth

A&O
Skirt: red
Outer ring: blue
Inner ring: light blue
Mouth: white

Looks fairly close, though. I did a little digging, and maybe it's Ring of Fire? Which some sites use interchangeably with Star Fire... mildly infuriating

The funny thing was the entire time the light was the same over my tank. Now that I switched lights a few weeks ago, they might change again, Haha

It is normal for zoas to morph slightly, or a lot if they're utter chaos.

What you have there are ring of fire/chemical romance/etc. The difference between alpha and omegas and these are the blue vs black background between the mouth and skirt. They're basically the same thing save that one little difference.

To be fair, I don't care what colors they want to be, I just want that star pattern! My next reef tank is literally going to be devoted to zoas with star patterns
