Color change....

So i picked up a AOG frag from a local awhile back ... AOG's to my knowledge are to have a pink face .... well...mine has suddenly turned into a BRIGHT neon orange .... why did this happen? i mean it looks pretty cool...was pink a month in my tank and i noticed it changing slowly, today i finally compared pics ... anyone ever have one go from pink to orange?

I'm pretty sure they are supposed to be orange but I honestly don't know. I've always seen them orange.

Would love to post a pic, but all i have is my crappy cell phone camera. Guess thats the next plunge ... any camera recommendations?!
