Color correction while recording video

Hey guys I have a question. I finally got myself a DSLR camera. I love the clarity on it. But when I record my tank the blue actually looks purple. How do I correct that? look at the picture my radions are at 20k right now so a light blue-ish but during the playback its purple.

Hi Deezill,

You should have an option on your camera to change the 'White Balance'. You will just need to match the colour temperature of your surroundings with your camera’s Kelvin white balance settings. Crank the Kelvin rating up as far as it will go and that should make your videos look a little less blue :)
 
All the videos that i have posted have not used orange filters and i think they look ok :) - here is my latest one :
