I ordered some zoas from Aquarium Depot once I started to get back into reefing due to lack of a decent LPS and not knowing the quality of what I would be able to find here and other sellers.

Either way 4 different zoas were purchased and 3 are just so off I have no clue what they are. One was an interteller and it's drab and a 2 weeks ago I had no clue but it's starting to look somewhat right. Given time and good light will these come back or is there a such thing as just too damaged? I assume it's shipping issue or maybe it is just they didn't take care of them.

Either way given right light and feeding can they come back. When I say bad, all of their skirts are browned out bad and have been since recieved 3 weeks ago. I am starting to see some color on the interstellar skirt so I'm hopeful.

The color can come back or stay brown.

What lights do you have? How old is your tank. Is everything else is your tank happy?

Kessil a160 tuna blue. All new everything except the sand and rock I just did a face lift on the tank and the tank it's self is 6 year old modded rimless biocube 29g.

Yes everything else is happy. All colors are normal except for the zoas from Aquarium Depot.

One is supposed to be a Stratosphere Paly and other is suppose to be a Nirvana zoa.

This should give you an idea on the color issue.

Here is an over all view of the zoa garden I'm starting. I've yet to arrange the way I want them of course but I did put them there to ensure they are ok with the lighting.

This tank was almost killed off completely with lack of maintenance and cyno got this from a friend. Either way I've had it for 3 weeks now.

So the answer to the question is yes.

Definitely not stratopshere and nirvana. First of all, true stratosphere zoas cost at least $2k. They look more like Sonic Flare and Mohawk zoas to me. They might have meant "stratocaster" (I think that's how you spell it) but it also doesn't look the same. You can look up Nirvana zoa and it's 100% different.

Zoas will definitely come back and gain their old colors again. But it takes months and good parameters. I've had this happen to a lot of my zoas a year ago when I went through a small crash.
