Quick question, I have this pipe coral that's been in my tank for about 3 weeks now. When I purchased it it looked like this:
It fell a few times and completely closed up until I realized (well until my lfs suggested) to use the turkey baster to blast out the sand that was irritating it from the fall. I placed it up higher in my tank and further away from the flow from my vortex. Since then its opened up again and filled out nicely but most of the polyps are missing the nice bright green color see the image from today below. But some do have the original coloring. Is this something that I should worry about or will it color up over time? Is it to close to the lights - I'm running Radion's at 60%. My parameters are stable, though I'm slowly dosing Calcium to bring the numbers up. All other corals are fine, in fact so is this one its just the color. I'm probably just being paranoid but I figure it can't hurt to ask.
