I have a question on what would be the best mix for the color spectrum on led lights when your making the spectrum yourself. Here's what I use as of now

The light doesn't look bad at all but I also don't get the pop as I see when I go to the vender shows and frag swaps. I do however notice that when I put on sunglasses and look at the tank the corals look like they do at the frag swaps. I assumed that the sunglasses I had on were uv protection so I took the uv all the way down to see if that helped but to no avail.

All blue kinda washes everything out and increased intensity just makes it brighter, but doesn’t change the color.

How long have you had these corals? They might not be as bright as the vendors

They are still frags and most likely will color up in time, but the thing that bugs me is that they look really good with sunglasses on and I would assume that I could somehow get a color mix to maintain that. I guess I'm going to have to mess with it later tonight when the actinics come back on.

are they, polarized, blue lens, orange lens? You probably wont replicate the look through sunglasses

IMO your colors are looking dull from all the blue. You need to add in more White, Red and some green to balance everything out.

The further to the left on the color control panel the more “pop” that color gives. So ramp them up and start removing color on the left until you just get that pop you want.

They are polarized glasses with rainbow looking lenses...they're fishing glasses. I have white, red and green light in the spectrum as the day progresses. I was just showing my actinic setting.
