color morphing zoas

They were orange but some of the babies are bright green. They are growing on the same coenenchyme.

Some seemed to relocate themselves at night too...moved to a different rock six inches away

Corals can morph color under different tank conditions

Zoas do not move on their own, something had to move them

Would a coral banded do it? It seemed to be perfect where it ended up already solidly set by next morning. Thought maybe he dragged them and didn't like the taste and set them down.

It could I guess, never heard of it before but there is a first for everything

I've had zoas move on me as well. I can get a picture when I get home of some blue hornets that moved from the top of the plug to underneath it. I think I was burning them with my lighting.

The current is strong there too....they are from the colony with the orange and green zoas.......

I thought the quartz bits they were on when I got them were sharp and cutting them in the current. I don't know the name....I don't think they have one. I got them from worksreef on eBay. Lost a bunch they melted on the way....but the survivors are prospering.
