So recently I let my tank be for a bit to try different things to see what is making my (easy?) corals not grow. Specifically my green star polyps. I've tried many different methods, keeping water pristine (constant water/ filter floss changes), adding iodine, calcium, mag, alkalinity....

So eventually I wanted to try just letting it be, for like a month I did no maintenance at all. Just feed my jerk clown fish and leave.

During this period I eventually wanted to see if it finally grew off the frag and took hold of the rock it was on (had then dang frag like 5+ months...sad i know). The AI Prime also had to be reset back on to the WIFI.

Now this is where the fun beings: As I was getting ready to clean the algae from the tank, I wanted direct light to see into it, so I set the AI Prime back up. Then I was like all I need right now is the cool white on. I looked at it and was like WOW! That is a lot more than I saw before. Got onto the computer to mess with the light settings, started to set it back to where I originally had it. I didn't see as much algae as just the cool whites.

Is there any reason for this, sorry if this is a novice question.
Camera on phone, not high quality sorry.

White light always makes things look more yellow.
