I have a 150 gallon mixed reef, currently have a yellow tang, snowflake clownfish and picasso clownfish. Looking to add some color with easy maintenance, hardy fish. Any suggestions? Probably only want 2-3 more fish total.

Have considered a wrasse, I don't have a top for the aquarium though. I will look at those wrasse.Perhaps fairy wrasses or flasher wrasses? Colourful and reef safe. Not sure how hardy they are though.
I love anthias, don't want to have to feed 2-3 times/day. I have an apex auto feeder if I did. I was thinking of a male lyretail and a wrasse.I agree with wrasses. They're colorful and full of personality. Anthias are also a nice colorful fish and they group together
I see on bulkreefsupply.com a diy kit if I go that route, how often do they need feeding and are they active?Agree with the idea of flasher wrasses. But know that ALL wrasses jump. A screen top can be done DIY for a few dollars, or you can buy one that looks really nice and low profile designed for Rimless tanks
Love firefighters but they seem to always hide during the day. I had red and purple. Any others that may be better?Firefish?
Definitely been thinking of the royal gramma, was curious about the blue chromis or diamond sapphire damsel.Well I know these are "common" fishes, but they meet the criteria you stated: Royal Gramma, Blue/Green Chromis. In the size of tank you have you could have a school of 20 chromis, is quite a nice look.
I really just want 1 tang, I had a hippo and sold him because he out grew my 150. Thanks for the suggestion.Hippo tang
Wrasses are very active and will be out and about all the time.I see on bulkreefsupply.com a diy kit if I go that route, how often do they need feeding and are they active?
Thanks, I feed LRS fish frenzy and reef frenzy.Wrasses are very active and will be out and about all the time.
Wrasses and all fish for that matter always do best with multiple small feedings throughout the day. That said, wrasses are easier in that you can do what most of us do and feed a bit in the morning and more in the evening.
Feeding meaty foods is also a great idea, but a balanced diet is best. As much as I love tacos, I don't want to eat them for every meal. Wrasses are the same. Except for the tacos part...
Do you feed in the morning with lights off? My lights come on at 12, I can feed pellets with apex feeder but got to get it fine tuned not to dump so many pellets.Wrasses are very active and will be out and about all the time.

A completely covered tank is a fundamental requirement for keeping them.Have considered a wrasse, I don't have a top for the aquarium though. I will look at those wrasse.
Wrasses also require the same.don't want to have to feed 2-3 times/day.
Thanks for the response. Right now I am thinking of adding a blue sapphire damsel and tank raised orchid dotty back.A completely covered tank is a fundamental requirement for keeping them.
Wrasses also require the same.
