Hey, I bought this piece maybe a month ago. I noticed it's starting to show pink. Not sure the name of it, but I love that it's coloring up. About 2 months into Acros and I'm experiencing some success after a few weeks ☺️

Just wanted to share (not the best shots but I was hyped when I saw some pink tips after it doing nothing for a few weeks)

Great stuff so far. Just keep doin what ya doin.

Aside from stable parameters, what's the trick to doing this? I have browned acros that are growing but not returning to their original colour. I dose aminos but no additional coral specific food. Higher PAR?

Depends really but personally with all things equal, I’ve found better coloration with lower Alk (8ish) vs 9ish. I don’t dose anything — just feed my fish more, free fertilizer!

Glad things are going well! I love watching greened-out or brown frags turn into colored up colonies! These two shots are one year apart. This particular one went from a dull green to lime green with yellow tips.

One yr apart?! I guess Acros really do grow fast under the right conditions huh. Awesome stuff!!

I'm only 2 months into this but for me, it's been stability on alk, temperature, salinity, calcium, pH and just give it time. There's a YouTube video I've watched a few times by a guy named Coral Euphoria called Intro to Acropora care. I think it's a must watch

Yea this too. I used to mess up my my nitrates and phosphate trying to feed my corals until this LFS I go to with beautiful Acros said they dont feed theirs (they only feed their LPS if it's in bad shape). They just feed the fish and let everything take care of itself and keep up with water changes
