Coloring up chalices?

I used to have chalices and what I did a first was only having one power head constant okay to power my 29 gal but when I added a second and put a timer to switch them the chalice loved it also they respond to LEDs very well.. I don't feed my chalices but oh could try that.. Hope that helped!
 
Its hard to tell u posted no pics .. to much direct light high no3 po4 salnity is way off those I would double check first take some water to your local pet store compare your water readings .. u can't go wrong with doing a bunch of water changes while u trying to figure out the problem is
 
I keep mine partially in the shade and I occasionally fed them Rod's .
 
I had them under shade, now acclimated them to direct light. I feed twice a week (mysis once and coral frenzy the other time). If under direct light, use less whites and more blues...

How many of you think keeping under shade will give better coloration?
 
I have a Kessil A350W. 20% White & 100% Blue. My Chalices are on the sand bed 24" under light...
 
I have a Cleveland Cavs under 250w MH and it's growing like fire. I was the size of a silver dollar 3 months ago and now about the size of a softball. I feed mine reef chili and Fuel.
