Supposedly called "neverland" anyone else think it looks like something else?
Colors are ridiculous.![]()
They are coming to live with me so well see. Just never heard of Neverland. Thought they could be called something else also. Of they look half as good once in the tank I will be happy.
Ya vendors are also in the trend it seems to name corals whatever they like so they can claim they are 'rare'. If the price fits your budget and you like the color then buy it, but I wouldn't be too caught up in the names. Most of it is just hype started from the vendor.
$80 Ebay living reef orlandowhere did you get these and how much?
This is the WORST. There are no agreed upon naming conventions in the hobby and MANY vendors and shops take advantage of this by just creating new names whenever they feel like it to charge more. It's a form of lying IMO. I'd love to see a group of reputable vendors get together and create a name registry of some sort with enough industry weight behind it, so there's some sort of standardization.

Man, you hit the nail on the head!
I literally had zoas that look just like that years and years ago. No what? They were "Misc. Zoanthids" On the sheet from the wholesaler.
I paid $10 for about 15 polyps wholesale.
Again though, if you like them and can afford them...
Just so there is no misconception on behalf of living reef Orlando this was a auction and not a buy it now. It was bid up to this from .99Ya this is just a money grab and is lying IMO. "Rare" has nothing to do with the name of a coral but they charge a premium because they slap a name on the front; its a joke.

I just dont want people to think they were asking 80 for it.
I would love to see it when it gets home. Either for good or bad. I end up falling for the named zoa’s ( although not the crazy expensive ones). Then I can never remember the names. So after six months they just become “the nice ones with the pink skirt back there” then I end up selling frags for next to nothing because I don’t care what their name was I just like the color lol
Any pics?
