Hey Refers,

I added some Colt Coral to my tank a few months ago. I started dosing with Part A & B Alkalinity and calcium and my colt coral started to change white. I immediately stopped dosing and did water changes for the next two months. The coral now have some color coming back but I'm not sure if this is for the better or worse. They are staying closed for the most part. Not expanding at all. Thoughts...

Any stony coral in the tank? If no, quit dosing 2 part as it’s not needed.
Looks like you bleached it out. Either too much light or stress from adding too much 2 part. What’s your alkalinity and calcium?

Alkalinity is 10.6 and Calcium is 460

LOL! I spent all this time trying to get the water to great levels and you want me to raise the Nitrate and PH. Please give me the PRO's and CON's to this. How do you suggest I raise those levels? What about the other corals I have in the tank? Frog Spawn and a torch. Most of the tank is softies but what if I want to add other coral in the future?
