Combine new AI Prime 16hd with used light?

I’m upgrading to a bigger tank and will be needing 2 AI primes. I have a light that is about a year old right now and don’t really want to buy two new lights. If I get a brand new light and add it to the new tank would it cause any issues? Should I replace the lens on the older light?
