I am using photos from pacific east aqua culture for examples only, no hate or anything directed towards them.

So I have been seeing these all over now, for SPS, softies and even LPS. I would imagine "combo" frags for SPS and softies would be okay with aggression but today I noticed a blastomussa "combo" frag and it got me thinking...... are these a good idea?
don't get me wrong, they look striking but wouldn't it be better just to get separate frags so you can space them?
I have seen mixed species, this one had Blastos on it.

Yes it's the same species but they are different morphs and colonies........ wouldn't the larger colony overwhelm the smaller one with aggression and either kill it out right or cause it to stress and get sick?
These look very nice but I really don't think they would last
any thoughts?

Combo frags are good. I usually split them up when I get them and that way they have room to grow. A lot of times pricing is no different so you get 2 frags for the price of one!

Agreed. I wouldn't leave most of them together, but getting both on a plug like that, I'd remove them and call it a good deal at 2 for the price of 1.
