Cyano will follow most likely. I am passing the diatoms and beginning a little cyano. And it's actually lime green? Lol I have a little red cyano also

Then it's in the air in my home because I haven't introduced anything other than Dr tims, and rock that has been in a freshwater system for years after an acid bath.

stage 5 of the cycle, generally is cyano. It is in the sticky for the supreme guide to setting up a saltwater aquarium. That being said i have no idea how it is introduced so you may be 100% correct twilliard. I just know I have begun getting some and am hoping it is just a normal stage of the cycle like that guide says. :(.

The introduction of cyanobacteria is quite interesting as I am working on finding the answer to this.
They have similar forms of diatoms as we can see with our eyes.

I'm not brand new to reefing but ive been out of the hobby for a while only with the freshwater system, and i never imagined in a million years that i would be so fascinated with colored slime again!
