Commercial fish quarantine 9 tank rack system

After nearly a total of 6 months of planning and building I've finally got to the the point where I want to share this with all of you. My blood, sweat and tears have gone into this and I may only be about a little past half way done.

The idea is to expand our small batch fish quarantine system which only consisted of 3 "29 gallon" Aqueon tanks. By adding 6 more tanks we can expand our operation to better meet our clients' needs.

We still have to automate our top off system using GHL's Doser Maxi, Power Bars and a whole bunch of 12v solenoid valves, floats and a manifold system.

We opted for Philips Hue light strips for lighting since we already use the system for home and find it quite wonderful to use our voice to control its operation via Alexa.

We've been doing it for a few locals but after we make our first shipment to Hawaii we'll do more shipping to other hobbyists.

We treat everything with copper and prazipro and take our time to make sure the fish are in the best of health and well conditioned for aquarium life before they make their way to their forever homes. We see this as more of an adoption service rather than a typical fish store.

The front face of the cabinet will also have 9 flip up cabinet doors so the topside of the tanks wont be immediately visible.

This cabinet consists of 3/4" plywood, pocket screwed (more than 300) and glued together. Main vertical support and end cap panels are two 3/4" plywood panels tied together as one.

Pretty cool idea. how do you decide what you stock? all custom orders?

Mostly custom orders but also bringing in common faster moving fish.

We want to expand our operation to a storefront on our home property that houses fish that have already been run through this quarantine system. We'll someday offer coral and inverts that have gone through long fallow periods as well.

I've thought the whole thing out and now it's just a matter of time and money. We just want to create an experience thats quite a bit different than what most fish stores do.
