Had two of my Anemones split within a week of each other. Has anyone noticed a relation of this happening in their tanks as well, or do you think it's a coincidence?

All my numbers are good, my corals happy and all of my other Anemones are good, large and bubbly.

Just curious.

I'd think it's a stressor causing the splits. Jmo

+1 to stress, or “changes”, causing splitting. Big water change, temperature spike, etc could induce it. Even flow TBH, or lighting. Anemones are annoying xD

Can't it also happen if they are "happy?"
One of the ones that split (The purple one with orange tips, does anyone know its actual name btw?) was bigger than a softball. The picture on the left is before it split. (I already had two, now I have three purple ones)

Stressor maybe; coincidence maybe. Just a larger majano LOL.
