I have a maroon gold dot clown that is a bully. I tried to add a royal grams but he bullied him so much he almost died. I ended up returning him to the LFS.
I cant add too large of a fish since it's in a Fluval 13.5. I am looking for suggestions on what might be able to hold their own with him. Or should I just leave it alone?

Good luck. Those guys are big and notoriously do not play well with others. Especially in a small tank. They can get very large, so consider re-homing him or getting a larger tank and adding him last. :)

Maroon clown doing what maroon clowns do.

Unfortunately you will likely need to leave her by herself or rehome her. Good luck with whatever you decide!

Just sucks bc she has the coolest markings. She has a smiley face on her tail and a winking face on the other side.

You're right! I love the smiley face! The other options is to get another tank that is at least 30g and you might (emphasis on might) be able to successfully add a mate.
