I'd just go with the candy tbh

I have a yellow assessor and a Royal Gramma in a redsea reefer 170, they are pals, no aggression whatsoever. The yellow assessor is my favorite fish. Of course fish can vary in temperament but that's my two cents

It depends on the size of the tank. if there’s enough room for then to have their own territory’s it should be fine.
