Hi guys, it's been a while since I posted because I was holding off on doing anything to my tank until I got a protein skimmer. Now that its been running for a month, I feel ready to add a new fish to my tank. My only current stock is a cleaner shrimp and one female phantom clownfish. I had a bonded pair until the male died :( I feel like my female is lonely and want to add another clown but was wondering if it's a bad idea since they'd be introduced at different times. Any certain species that seem to be more docile and I should aim for? Thanks in advance for any help!

Should be fine. They do fine in pairs. As long as they are in the same genre. One will change sex when needed.
I'm sorry I don't know what you mean by genre. Does that mean it has to be another phantom?

Same species. Like tomato, standard clown and so on. Two of any is fine until you hit three or more. Tank raised are the exception if they were raised together and bought at the same time. Of corse there are exceptions, no fish is the same.
